rainy day delicacy 雨の日のごちそう

it rained so much this month. i don't like walking in the rain so much. sometimes i just refuse to walk when it is raining hard. i make a big effort to hold my pee or poop in that occasion. but there is one good thing about rainy days. that is...

snails! snails are not technically escargot, but they are the same for me. they are so strange looking. they are so slow and sticky. their shell is a good source of calcium. after the rain, a lot of snails just come out from somewhere and hang out outside, so i go eat them. they usually don't know why i am sniffing them, so they don't even try to escape. if i can get some garlic and butter, they will be even better. yum!

.... don't worry, i'm kidding! i never ate snails. my parents usually catch me trying to eat them. i wonder what they taste like....

今月は雨がでら多かったなもー。雨の中を散歩するのはあんまり好きじゃないんだに。だからときどき玄関の前にふんばって、歩きたくにゃー！っていう意思表示するんだに。雨の中歩くくらいなら、オシッコもウンチもがんばって我慢するもんね。でも雨の日にもいいことはあるんだに。それはなにかっていうと、、、

かたつむり！かたつむりはエスカルゴとは別物らしいけど、ぼくにとってはおんなじだぎゃー。かたつむりって変わった生き物だと思わん？のろのろしとるし、それでもってべとべとした感じだし。でもかたつむりのカラはカルシウム満点なんだに。雨のあとはかたつむりがどこからともなくでらいっぱい出て来て、花壇でのんびりしとる。だからぼくは雨がやんだらかたつむりを食べに行くんだがねー。かたつむりたちはぼくがどうして近づいてくるのか知らんみたいで、全然逃げんよ。これでバターとにんにくでもあれば最高なんだけどねー。あーヨダレでそう。

なーんて、うっそだがねー。かたつむりなんて食べんよー！いっつも食べてみようかなーと思うとアーロンとあやこに怒られてやめるんだがねー。でもやっぱりちょっと味見くらいしてみたいなもー。

my natural heat control ぼくのクールビズ

so hot. it's 90 degrees out. i can't go outside so much when it's this hot because my smooooosh face can't cool the air down so well. so i am shedding a lot lately. i think i am losing my baby coat every day. my mom did so many loads of laundry today and i helped her folding all the clothes. you can tell which clothes i slept on because you can see my short soft hair on them. helping her always feels good.

my belly is getting bald and that area looks like a piglet belly. it's kind of pink to make it look even more pig-ish. my dad had a dream about me being totally bald the other day. i wonder what it feels like to have no hair. can you imagine?

あつーーー。でら暑いがねー。こんなに暑いとぼくみたいなかえる顔の犬は外にもあんまり出れんねー。だってぼくたち暑さに弱いもんねー。だから最近ぼくの毛がでらよく抜けるんだに。子犬特有のふさふさした毛がどんどん抜けてっとる感じだなも。今日はアヤコが一日中洗濯しとったから、服たたむの手伝ったんだにー。ぼくが上で寝た服はすぐわかるよ。だってぼくの黒い短い毛がいっぱい着いとるからね。お手伝いっていい気分だなもー。

ぼくのおなかはだんだん毛がなくなってきて、子豚みたいに見えるらしいぎゃー。しかも肌がちょっとピンク色でますます子豚っぽい感じだに。この前アーロンもぼくの毛がどんどん抜けてまるっきりハゲになった夢見たらしいんだに。体中の毛がない犬になるってどういう感じなんだろねー。うーんちょっと想像つかんね。

pee like a man 大人なオシッコ

today is a memorable day. i peed like a man in soho! i came to my mom's work today, and when we walked at lunch time, i peed with my leg up. woohoo! i heard my mom saying "oh no" but i think she meant "oh yes!" i don't know why i thought of peeing with my leg up, but it just came naturally.

however (however! what a matured word!), while peeing with my leg up, i got so tired. so i had to go back to my regular style of peeing. i think i had too much water. that pee went on and on, and i made a biggest pee puddle ever. that felt so good. i feel so accomplished today.

今日は記念すべき日だがねー。今日はソーホーで、大人の男スタイルでオシッコしたんだに。アヤコの仕事に一緒に来て、お昼の散歩のとき、後ろ足をあげてオシッコしたんだぎゃー。イエーイ！アヤコが「いやだー」って言っとるのが聞こえたけど、たぶんあれは「チュウブすごい！エラい！」の聞き間違いだに。なんで後ろ足あげてオシッコしようと思ったのかはわからんけど、自然にできたんだに。大人になった気分だなもー。

しかしながら（『しかしながら』だって！なんて大人な言葉遣いだなも！）大人スタイルでオシッコしとるあいだ、すぐに疲れてまって、やっぱりいつも通りのやりかたでオシッコを終えたんだに。ちょっと今日は水を飲み過ぎたみたいだなもー。でーら長いオシッコだったもんで、あしもとにでらでかいオシッコのみずたまりができたんだに。あれはいい気持ちだったねー。なんか今日はいっぱいやり遂げた！って感じがするなも。

give me some kisses チュウブにちゅーして

whenever my mom holds me, she kisses me on my cheek. she says my cheek is the best part. my cheek is so soft and a bit loose, and my lips make me look like i'm always smiling. so she kisses me a lot. i feel very loved.

when i first came to my parents' house, i didn't like being held. but eventually, i got comfortable in their arms. and i know they hold me because they love me. sometimes after pooping, they forget to wipe my butt and that leaves some poop mark on their shirt, but they still love me (I think).

アヤコはぼくを抱っこするとき、いつもほっぺにちゅーしてくれる。アヤコはぼくのほっぺがお気に入りらしいんだわー。だってぼくのほっぺはやわらかくてたるたるなんだもんねー。愛されとるって感じだなもー。

はじめてアーロンとアヤコの家に来たとき、ぼくはあんまり抱っこされるのは好きじゃなかったんだに。でもだんだん居心地よくなってきて、今では抱っこされたままぐーぐー寝てまうくらいだに。愛だなも、愛。たまーにウンチのあと、おしりを拭いてもらうの忘れると、ウンチがシャツについてまうんだけど、でもこれも愛だらがねー、愛！

let's go hiking ハイキングに行こう

i am going to write about my hiking experience in conneticut. from the side of the french bulldog bridge, we went down to the river. it was pretty steep mountain road, but there is nothing to afraid. i am a brave boy! i went down all the way with my dad and found some very cool rocks. the rocks have so many deep holes. i wonder if there are any creatures who live down in the holes. my goldfish siblings might enjoy living there.

when i was photoshooting with my dad, my mom finally caught up with us. but she didn't come all the way to the rocks. i think she was a bit scared. i watched her so she doesn't fall or anything. yes, i am a very good boy and i am a good hiker. i am also good at finding food anywhere. so i will be your good hiking partner.

今日はコネチカットでのハイキング体験について書くでねー。昨日書いた「フレンチブルドッグ橋」の下に流れる川に、橋の横から降りられるようになっとるんだに。でもけっこう急な山道だでねー、気をつけてアーロンと一緒に下って行ったんだに。でもぼくには恐れるものなどなにもにゃー！ずんずん下っていって、川にたどり着いたら、そこにはおもしろい形の岩がでらいっぱいあったに。でらでかくて、しかも穴がぽこぽこ開いとるんだよ。不思議だねー。なにか生き物が住んどるような感じがしたがねー。うちの金魚もああいうところに住めたら喜ぶかもしれんね。

アーロンと写真撮っとるとき、アヤコがやっと追いついてきた。でもぼくがいる岩のところまでは来んかった。ちょっと怖かったんでないのー？だからアヤコが怪我しんように、ぼくがちゃんと見張ったげたんだに。ぼくってでらいい子だがねー。しかもぼく、ハイキングが上手なんでないのー。ぼくのかえる鼻は食べ物のにおいは逃さんよ。理想のハイキング仲間だと思うんだなもー。

bridge over chubu water チュウブ川にかかる橋

today, i went to kent, conneticut with my parents. i will tell you why we went there later. i want to write about my bridge that i found there. the name of the bridge is "bulls bridge" - this is translated to "french bulldogs bridge" in my mind. so we did some photoshoot. look how cool this covered bridge! i wish my crate was covered with wooden roof like that. maybe my dad can make one for me.

it was a bit hot today, so i really wanted to go swimming. but the water runs so fast there, so i didn't. i'm sure my dad wanted to go in as well. just standing by the water made me feel so nice though. it is a negative ion effect. thanks to this effect, i had so much gas passing in our car. i couldn't stop smiling whenever i farted because it feels so good. i don't know why my parents don't enjoy it. i sometimes just don't understand humans.

今日はアーロンとアヤコとコネチカット州のケントっていうところに行って来たがねー。何しに行ったかっていうのはまた今度書くとして、今日はそこで見つけた橋のことを書きたいんだに。その橋の名前は「ブルズブリッジ」ぼくが通訳すると「フレンチブルドッグ橋」ってことになるがねー。おおおーすごいなも。こんな屋根が着いた橋なんて日本では見たことにゃーがねー。ぼくのクレーとにもあんな屋根がつい撮ったらいいのになもー。アーロンに頼んだら作ってもらえるかもしれんね。

今日は暑かったで、水の中に飛び込みたかったけど、流れがでら速そうだったでやめたんだに。アーロンも泳ぎたかったと思うけどねー。でも水際に立っとるだけでいい気持ちだったなもー。これがマイナスイオン効果ってやつだなも。おかげで帰りの車の中ではおならしまくりだったがねー。おならが出るたびにあんまりいい気持ちだもんでニヤニヤしてまったがねー。こんなに気持ちいいのに、アーロンとアヤコはあんまりうれしそうじゃなかったなも。人間ってやっぱりちょっと不思議な生き物だなも。

what happened in the bedroom 寝室事件

what happened in the bedroom the other day was a frightening crime... the crime scene investigater dad know who and how that happened. it started like a normal day. my dad added some dry dog food to my diet because i am a bit thin for a french bulldog. i was so excited to eat my meal. dry food and wet food combination gives interesting texture to my meal. i finished eating, and i was taking an after meal rest. my dad was going to take me out for my poop business soon. the next moment, what my dad found was a scary crime scene.

i pooped all over the bedroom. i don't know what happened. i usually let my parents know what i have to go outside, but this time, i didn't. and i pooped a lot. when my dad ran to the bedroom, the crime was already done. i was very sad. i think i got too excited about the dry food, and my body made too much poop. this is what happened in the bedroom... so scary!

あの日、事件は寝室で起こった。でら怖い事件だに。アーロンは事件調査官となって、この事件のことを調べたんだに。あの日はごく普通に一日が始まった。アーロンがぼくのごはんに乾いたドッグフートを付け加えたんだに。ぼくはフレンチブルドッグとしてはちょっとやせとるから、缶のドッグフードと混ぜるようにしたんだに。かりかりのドッグフードとやわらかーい缶のドッグフードが組合わさると、食べごたえがあっていいなもー。でらおいしかったがねー。食べた後、ぼくはいつものように一休みしとった。アーロンがもうすぐ食後の散歩に行くでねーって言っとった。次の瞬間、あの恐ろしい事件は起きたのだった。

寝室でぼくはすごい量のウンチをしてまった！とにかくあれはすごい量だったね。いつもはトイレに行きたいときはちゃんとアーロンかあやこに伝えるんだけど、今回はそれもできんかった。下痢じゃなかったのにね。アーロンが寝室の異変を嗅ぎつけてきたときは、すでに事件が起こったあとだったんだがねー。ちょっとごはんに興奮しすぎたのかなもー。で、ぼくの体がウンチを大量に製造してまったのかもしれんね。ごめんねアーロン。アヤコは出張でシカゴに行っとったから、アーロンはひとりで寝室のそうじをかなり念入りにしないかんかったんだに。ああ恐ろしい事件だったなも。
