childhood's end? 思春期？

i'm sleepy. just so sleepy. i didn't even want to go outside. when dad put the collar, i didn't want to get up. maybe i'm turning into a teenager. (but i'm still potty training.) "teenager" sounds so cool to me. my mom and dad don't agree with me, though... when i become a real teenager, i want cool guitar chew toys, cool rock n' roll shirts, bigger treats, more treats, and more belly rub!

to prove my growth, i kind of started humping! yes!! (but remember, i'm still potty training.) when i met a cute yorkie tonight, mom saw my move. but i didn't really know what i was doing. sigh. there are so many things to think about...

眠い。とにかく眠い。今日は散歩にも行きたくないくらい眠かった！アーロンが首輪をつけてくれたときも起き上がれんかった。もしかしてぼく、思春期かも、、、？（でもまだトイレトレーニング中）「思春期」ってなんかいい響きだぎゃー。なんかかっこいいがね。そのうち本当に思春期になったら、かっこいいギターの形のおもちゃとか、ロックなTシャツとか、もっと大きいおやつとか、もっともっとなでてもらうとか、やりたいこといっぱいあるのだ！

ぼくの成長ぶりを証明するために教えちゃうけど、今日ぼくは腰をふりだしたのだ！そうなのだー！！（でもまだトイレトレーニング中だけど）夜の散歩でかわいいヨークシャテリアに会ってさー。でも自分でも何しとるかよくわからんのだよね。ああため息。物思いにふけるぼくなのだった、、、。

gold fish are not gold うちの金魚は金色じゃにゃー

a few days ago, i discovered another creature at home - gold fish. there are 3 of them. i never saw fish before. they live in the water. so strange! i can't swim, so i think they are so cool. i'm a bit jealous as well. it must be so nice to be able to swim in summer. i'm not scared of water, but my head is a little too heavy. i couldn't stop watching them swimming. one of them looked a little like me. his body is black and he has big bubbly eyes, and the eyes are so apart! i saw my mom fed them some fish food. (she didn't let me try them.) those gold fish didn't find the food falling from the surface for a while. that's a big difference from me because i'm so good at finding food. anyway, i'm glad that i have fish brothers (or sisters?).

after my close observation of the gold fish friends, i took a nap and i had a dream. i was swimming with them. i felt like i was flying. my dad and mom saw me moving my little legs and barking softly. they tried to take video of me dreaming, but their camera woke me up. (that's why there's only one photo today.) it was such a nice dream. i hope i can have more fun dreams. maybe i should take more naps.

何日か前、ぼくは発見したのだ。うちに金魚がおる！３匹もおったのだ。魚なんて初めてみたに。水の中に住んどるなんて変わっとるねー。ぼくは泳げんからちょっとうらやましいね。水は怖くにゃーんだけど、ぼくの頭がちょっと重すぎるみたい。とにかく金魚が珍しくてずーっと眺めてまったよ。１匹はちょっとぼくに似てて、黒くて目がおっきくて、両目がでら離れとるんだよ。アヤコが金魚にエサをあげてたから食べてみたかったけど、味見させてくれんかった。金魚はエサが降って来とるのに気づかんかったりするんだに。そこんとこはぼくとは大違いだね。

あんまりずーっと金魚を観察したから、そのあと昼寝したとき夢を見たのだ。夢のなかでぼくは金魚と一緒に泳いどったね。アヤコとアーロンが、ぼくが足を動かして吠えたりするのを見たんだって。でも写真もビデオも撮れんかったみたい。（だから今日は写真が１枚しかにゃーんだに。）あー、良い夢だったなもー。またあんな夢みてゃーね。そのためにはもっと昼寝だね！

my profession ぼくの仕事

my main profession is sleeping. i'm really good at it. saturday is a nice day because i can take a nap with mom. my mom is a professional sleeper as well. today went like this: i was writing my blog.... then i fell asleep on my laptop. (by the way, i'm a mac user.) then i took a bath. now i smell so nice. my baby coat is so smooth and nice. i highly recommend that you visit me and rub my belly.

at one of the afternoon walk, i met 2 french bulldogs. one of them was 6-year-old brindle boy (man?), and the other was a younger pied girl. it was like a mini frenchie meeting. it's always nice to meet smoosh kind.

in the afternoon, dad's friend eric came over. he taught me a new trick - "down." but i didn't understand that word so well. i just wanted to make sure that he had treats in his hand. he told me that he has a boston terrier. i hope i can meet him sometime.

ぼくの主な仕事は寝ることだ。眠るのは本当に得意なんだー。土曜日はアヤコが家にいて、一緒に昼寝できるからいいなもー。 今日はこんな風に一日が過ぎていったのだ。ブログを書いて、、、パソコンの上で居眠りして（ちなみにぼくはマック派だに）それからお風呂に入れてもらった。だから今ぼくはすごくいいにおいだし、手触りもやわらかー。ぼくに会いにくるなら今のうちだぎゃ！


午後の散歩のとき、２匹のフレンチブルドッグに会った。６歳のブリンドルのオスとパイドのメス。フレンチブルドッグ　ミニ集会みたいでよかったねー。近所にけっこう仲間がいるんだね。

夕方、アーロンの友達のエリックが遊びに来て、ぼくに新しい芸を教えてくれた。「ふせ」っていうやつ。でもよくわからんかった。エリックの手の中にあるおやつが気になってしょうがなかったー。エリックはボストンテリアと一緒に住んどるんだって。いつか会ってみたいねー。

今日のオシッコ：８回（今日はケージの中でオシッコするところを２回もつかまってまった！だってタオルとパッドの区別つかないんだもん。今日はいろいろ勉強したね。）

rain rain rain 雨の日

it was a rainy day today. i put on the yellow rain coat that my grandmom gave me. it looked so good on me. i went to work with mom again today. because it was raining so much, we took a cab. the cab driver didn't know that i was there until i made big snorting noise. he was such a nice human. we had a good time in the cab. after we got to work, mom had to go to press check, so i stayed at her work with marlos and edward. they took good care of me. at lunch time, they took me to the awesome dominican take-out place and i went crazy because that place smelled so good. i want to go there again.

in the afternoon, edward brought his dog, joey ramone. joey ramone is a 3-year-old, chihuahua-terrier. he was very cool looking. i wanted to play with him so much and i even expressed myself by barking (!), but he didn't want to play with me today. (by the way, everyone was so amazed at my voice. maybe i can sing some french songs!) i hope he plays with me next time.


dad came home from boston tonight. boston is where boston terriers are from. boston terriers are smorges like me, so i like them. anyway, i missed him when he was away. so i was so happy to see him. he sung a lot of songs for me and gave me so much belly rub. i had a very nice day today.

今日は雨だった。アーロンのお母さんがくれた黄色いレインコートを初めて着てでかけた。すっごく似合ってたがね！雨がひどかったから、アヤコと会社に行くときはタクシーに乗った。最初は運転手さん、ぼくに気づいてなかったけど、すごい大きい音で鼻を何回かならしたら気づいてくれた。いい人だったねー。会社に着いたあと、アヤコはプレスチェックに行ったから、アヤコの会社の友達と一緒にすごした。お昼はドミニカ料理のお店に買いに行った。めちゃいいにおいでたまらんかったねー。また行きたいなも。


午後には”同僚”の、ジョーイ　ラモーンに初めて会った。ジョーイ　ラモーンはチワワとテリアのミックス犬で、かっちょよかったねー。一緒に遊んでほしかったから吠えて誘ってみたけど、今日はぼくと遊びたくなかったらしいに。しょうがないねー。ちなみに人間の友達はぼくの声初めて聞いたってうれしそうだったなも。次は歌でも歌ってみるか！

夜にはボストンからアーロンが帰って来た。ボストンはボストンテリアの出身地で、ボストンテリアはフレンチブルドッグの親戚なのだ。アーロンいなくて寂しかったから、帰って来てくれてうれしかったねー。今日はいい一日だったよ。

close encounters of the horse kind 馬との遭遇

today, i had a close encounter of the horse kind. when i went for coffee run with mom and her friends at work to starbucks, i met 2 police horses. (oh, i forgot to mention that i am at work with her again today) what are horses? they are so big!! and they have very long eye lushes. the police officers on the horses were so nice to me. they are my human friends. the horses seem to be quiet - they communicate with their pretty eyes. i kissed their nose and it was really soft. i really like them! mom told me that there are more horses at my grandparents' house. i can't wait to see them. maybe i can ride them and share some treats. I wonder if they are potty trained...

i ate dinner a little late tonight because i went to work with mom. i like going to work with her. her human friends are so nice to me. but mom is tired now because she had to carry me in the doggie bag. (maybe i'm too heavy? am i? i am about 19 pounds. am i heavy? do i look fat?) taking subway is kind of cool. i like looking at people from the small window of the bag. i wonder if my horse friends have ever taken subway.

今日は馬に遭遇したのだ！今日はまたアヤコと一緒に仕事に来たんだけど、午後スタバに行ったときそこに警察の馬が２頭いたのだ。馬って何者？すごいでかかった！まつげがすんごい長かったー！馬に乗ってた警察の人達もいい人だったなも。馬はもの静かなタイプとみたね。目は口ほどにものを言うってやつだがね。馬の鼻にチューしてみたらやわらかかったねー。馬っていいやつだと思った。アヤコが教えてくれたけど、アーロンの実家にも馬がいるんだって。友達になって乗馬したりおやつを一緒に食べたりしたいねー。馬ってトイレトレーニングするの？

今日の晩ご飯はちょっと遅めだった。仕事に行ってたからだに。アヤコの会社の人はみんなぼくにやさしいからうれしいなもー。でもアヤコは今日はとっても疲れたみたいだに。だってぼくのことかばんにいれて運ばなきゃいけなかったからね。ぼくってそんなに重い？重いの？どうしよう。今１９ポンドなんだけど重すぎる？太ってみえる？）地下鉄に乗るのも楽しいよ。かばんのポケットからカオをだして人間を眺めるのが楽しいんだがね。そういえば馬も地下鉄に乗ったことあるのかな？

trouble maker 問題児

it was a crazy day today. first of all, i pooped on the bathroom floor in the morning. i tried to tell my dad that i wanted to go to bathroom. i barked! but i couldn't wait... so i went to the human bathroom and pooped. my mom walked in the bathroom with sleepy head, and she stepped on it. i was so glad that she was wearing her slippers! then she had to throw them away. i'm sorry dad and mom. i with i could use the human toilet.

then, at 11am, dad walked me again and i pooped. he found some red thread from my butt. i pulled the red thread out of my doggie bed and ate it, and it came out with my poop. here is the photo of my butt with the red thread.


my dad called the vet, and she told him to feed me 2 pieces of bread. i have to say, that was the best thing i ever had. those 2 pieces of bread produced so much poop! after the 45 minutes walk (thank you dad), i pooped again. and the whole red thread came out. well, (look at the second photo) i didn't even know what really happened. my dad told me this story. i was very bad today. i really want to thank my dad to take good care of me. i didn't mean it! i will be a good boy again, i promise!

i'm so tired today... i didn't get so much nap time. i will sleep so well tonight. tomorrow is a new day, i'll be a good boy!

今日は大変な一日だった。まず最初に、今朝人間用のバスルームでウンチをしてまった。アーロンにトイレに行きたいって伝えようと思ってがんばって吠えたけど、しかも初めて吠えたんだけど、間に合わんかった。しかもアヤコが寝ぼけたままでトイレに入って来て、ぼくのウンチに気づかずに踏んづけちゃってさー。スリッパ履いててよかったよ。アヤコはそのあとそのスリッパ捨ててたけどね。ごめんなさい。人間用のトイレがぼくにも使えるといいんだけどねー。

そして１１時になって、アーロンが散歩に連れてってくれたとき、またウンチした。アーロンがぼくのおしりから赤い糸が出てるのを発見した！どうやらぼくはぼく用のクッションから糸を引っぱりだして食べちゃったみたい。あーなんておバカなんだろう。アーロンがあわてて獣医さんに電話して、パンを食べさせるといいって教わってぼくに２枚もパンをくれた。パンってうみゃーね！あんなにおいしいものとは知らんかったね。そのあとアーロンが４５分もぼくを散歩してくれて、またウンチがでた。で、ウンチと一緒に出てきたのがこの写真。

こんなに長い糸食べちゃうなんて我ながらすごすぎる。今日はすっかり問題児だったなもー。アーロン今日はさんざんお世話かけてごめんね。明日はいい子になるよ！

今日は疲れたなー。ほとんどお昼寝できんかったし。今日はよく寝れそう。明日はまた新しい一日だ。いい子になろう！

photogenic 写真映りについて

today, i'm in a bad mood because my dad took very scary photos of me. i don't know why i didn't notice that he was taking photos. why is my tongue sticking out? why are my eyes open? i want everyone to believe that i'm much cuter than these photos! (i secretly think that the second photo looks like big papi.)

by the way, my dad took me to the famous central park today. it was so nice! i walked on the grass for the first time in ny. peeing and pooping on the grass feel really special and relaxing. i asked my dad to try it too, but he didn't. sometimes i don't understand humans. anyway, i heard a rumor that there is pug meetings in the central park. i wonder if there's any meetings for french bulldogs. if there is, could anyone let me know?

今日のぼくは不機嫌なのだ。アーロンがものすごい変なカオのぼくを写真に撮ったんだー。全然気付かんかった。なんで舌出したままなの？なんで目開けて寝てるのー？実物のぼくはもっとずっとかわいいんだってば！ちなみに２枚目の写真、ちょっとパピーに似てない？


ところで今日はアーロンが、あの有名なセントラルパークに連れてってくれたのだ。セントラルパーク、いいとこだったなもー。芝生の上歩くなんてニューヨークに来てから初めてだに。オシッコもウンチも芝生の上でするのは格別だねー。アーロンにもやってみれば？って言ってみたけどしなかった。人間ってときどきよくわからんね。セントラルパークではパグの集会があるっていうウワサを聞いたんだけど、フレンチブルドッグ集会もあるのかなぁ？だれか知ってたら教えてちょー。
