moving is miserable 引越しは大変だなも

I moved! I moved to a new apartment yaay! My parents started packing　and the whole moving process made me so miserable…. You know I am a
french bull of routine and I don't want big boxes! And this is how　miserable I was. I was hiding in my bag so I don't have to see any　boxes! But I forgot to hide my back leg… but my back leg was safe.

I was so upset that there are so many boxes and sometimes they block　my way, I peed on my parents' bed twice. They deserve it! They didn't
yell at me, so I felt a bit guilty. But I'm a french bull so I can do　whatever I want to express my feelings.

Finally we are settling in to our new home and this is the proof. I　can sleep upside down on my couch again. I have my bed, I have my　cage, I have my breakfast and dinner, and I have nice walks in a new　neighborhood. Life is very good now.

引越しだーー！ぼく、引越したがね！あーもう引越しってでら大変だったがね～。家具がいつもと違うところにあるし、大きい箱が山積みになっとるし、ストレスたまりまくりだったに。引越した日は、ぼく専用のかばんに頭から入って隠れとったんだけど、後ろ足だけ隠すの忘れとったね。でもぼくの後ろ足はちゃーんと無事だったで大丈夫だに。

引越しの準備が始まってから、ぼく本当に不機嫌だったんだに。いつもと違うのがイヤなんだに。だから、ぼくのこの気持ちをわかってもらうために、アーロンとアヤコのベッドに２回もオシッコしてまった。怒られるだろうな～って思っとったのに、全然怒られんかったからちょっと罪の意識を感じたなも、、、。でもぼくはフレンチブルドッグだから、こうやって意思表示しないかんのだに。

やーっと引越しも終わってだいぶ落ち着いてきたなも～。写真がその証拠だに。すっかり落ち着いて、ちゃんとひっくり返って昼寝できるようになったんだもんね～。ぼくのベッドもソファも小屋もちゃんとあるし、朝ごはんも晩ごはんもちゃーんと食べとるし、人生って最高だなも！

summer bath time 夏のバスタイム

ahhhhh, it's so hot every day! because it's so hot, i'm shedding so so much every night. am i going to be bold?? i'm too young to be a bald french bull.... anyway, i had a bath today so i can shed as much as i want in the shower.

my mom made the shower kind of cold, so it was like a fountain in the park. my minty shower gel feels so good in summer time. my mom massaged my whole body in shower and it felt soooooo good. look at my beautiful dreamy eyes!

ああああああああああーーーー毎日あっついなもーーーー。でーらあっついもんで毎晩抜け毛がすごいんだに。あんまりすごい抜け毛だもんで、ハゲてまうんじゃないかと思って心配しとるがねー。ハゲるにはまだぼく、若すぎるんだに！とりあえず、シャワーでも浴びれば抜け毛も収まるかと思ってシャワーをあびることにしたんだに。

アヤコがシャワーをお水にしたもんで、公園の噴水浴びとるみたいだったねー。シャンプーはミントが入っとってすーすーして夏には気持ちいいがねー。シャワーしながらアヤコが体中マッサージしてくれたもんで、でーらいい気持ちになってうっとりしてまったがね！

maine trip 1 メイン州への旅 そのいち

i'm in maine now. maine french bull! the light house is so pretty and it lights my beautiful body... maine makes me a poet!!

it's a bit chilly in maine, but it's a perfect climate for a french bull. i love looking at ocean, and i love watching my parents eat clam steamers even more. am i allowed to eat any shellfish?

we took a boat to one of the islands in maine. i had my own ticket and i was so excited! the boat ride was great. i stayed inside half the time and i was on the outside deck half the time. i feel like i own this boat because i was the only french bull. call me captain chubu!

メイン州に来とるよー。メイン州は東海岸の一番北にあって今の時期はまだちょっと寒いんだに。灯台がきれいだなもー。灯台の灯りはぼくのかっちょいいボデーを照らす、、、、ああ詩人だなも！

海はいいなもー。ぼく、海を見るの大好きだに。でもアーロンとアヤコがはまぐりを食べるのを見るのはもっと好きだなも。かえる顔はああいう貝類って食べてもいいのかねー？

船にのってある島へ。ぼくの分も切符があったがね！でらうれしいがねー！船旅はいいなもー。とくに外のデッキで海を眺めるのは最高の気分だに。この船はぼくのものって感じがしたなもー。チュウブ船長って呼んでほしいなも！

メインの旅は続くなも。

always with japan 心はいつも日本と共に

a year has passed since Japan's earthquake and tsunami disaster. past 12 months, there was not a single day that i didn't think of japan, the victims, and those who survived but lost way too many things. there were many events to gather for the victims in ny and my mom and dad were able to go to a few of them. it's very powerful and amazing to see so many people come together to let the victims know that we are always with them.

as a frog faced french bull, there is not many things i can do for the people who are working so hard every day to rebuild their home. i just wanted to show them my love for japan. i will always share my treats with them i promise. and i will improve my stand up comedian skill so i can make them laugh. i hope there will be more smiles then tears in their lives from now on.

あの恐ろしい震災から１年が経ったんだに。この１年、日本のこと、犠牲になった方々のこと、そして生き残ったけれどあまりに多くのものを失った方々のことを思わない日はなかったんだに。ニューヨークでは震災の追悼式典がいくつもあったから、アーロンとアヤコはそのうち２つの式典に行って来たんだに。両方とも会場から溢れんばかりの人で、こんなにたくさんの人が被災者の方々に思いを伝えようとしとるんだって感動したなも。

ぼくはかえる顔のフレンチブルドッグだから、毎日ふるさとを復興しようってがんばっとる人達のためにできることはあんまりないんだけど、せめてぼくがどんなに日本を愛しとるか伝えたいと思っとるんだに。ぼく、被災者の人達のためだったらいつでもぼくのおやつを分けっこするって約束するなも。笑って元気になってもらえるなら、コメディアンとしての技ももっと磨くんだに。被災者のみなさんのこれからの人生に、涙よりずっと笑顔が多くなりますように。

heart chubu チュウブだいすき

happy valentine's day everyone! thank you for your love always!! so i made a big heart today to share with my frog face world. even though i love to sniff chocolates, chocolates are bad for frog face. so i'm expecting to get a giant heart shaped cookie from my parents. if i don't get anything, i will be very mean to them.... heart, chubu!

みんなー、はっぴーばれんたいん！いっつもぼくをかわいがってくれてありがとうだなもー。というわけで、お礼に今日はぼくがでっかいハートを作ったんだに。これをかえる顔の世界に広めたいんだにー。ぼく、チョコレートのニオイは好きなんだけど、チョコレートはかえる顔の僕たちは食べれんから、かわりにでーらでっかいハート型クッキーでももらえんかねーって期待しとるよ。アーロンとアヤコなら当然用意しとってくれるはず！もし何にももらえんかったら、、、、いじけてやる！愛をこめて、チュウブより。

howdy! can you see me? i went to red hook the other day and i had a great time. my mom was cautious because i got hurt when i came here last time. mom worries about me too much!

by the way, from where i was in the first photo to where i got on the second photo, it only took 4 seconds. isn't it a world record?

おぉぉぉぉーーーい！みんなぼくが見えるかねーーーー？この前、レッドフックに散歩に行って来たんだに。ぼくのうしろにある建物はたぶん工場なんだに。レンガの工場ってなんかかっちょいいなも。レッドフックは楽しかったけど、アヤコは前にここに来たときぼくがケガしたからって、またでら心配しとったに。アヤコはいちいち僕のこと心配しすぎだなもー。

ちなみに、最初の写真でぼくがおる場所から２枚目の写真の場所まで、ぼくの走りで４秒くらいしかかからんかった！これって世界記録じゃないのー？

snow gear 完全防備

it's cooooooolllllldddddd!! i'm a tough french bulldog, but i don't love to be outside in this weather so much. as a smart, fashionista french bulldog, i wear layers to keep myself warmer and more stylish.

this year, my snow gears are the orange hoodie, red jacket, and red bootie. yes, the jacket and the bootie are matching, of course! everyone looks at me and loves my look. fun!!

でーーーーーら寒いがねーーー！ぼくは強いフレンチブルドッグだけど、やっぱりこんなお天気の日は外に出たくなくなるがね。ぼくは賢いオサレさんだから、こういう日には重ね着ファッションを楽しむんだに。

今年の重ね着は、オレンジのフード付きセーターに赤いコート、それに赤いブーツだに。もちろん、赤いコートとブーツはばっちり合っとるなもー。みんなぼくのこと見て、ぼくのかわいさにメロメロだがね！！

今日のウンチ：寒いからさっさとするんだに。

happy 2012

it's a bit late, but happy new year everyone! it's 2012 and it's going to be MY year! every new year's eve, i eat soba to wish for a long life, and go to shrines in my apartment to pray for a good year, and i eat the mochi that is in this photo. did you know that i have my own shrine at home? my parents bought it from ise shrine in japan and named it after me. it's chubu shrine!

i hope a lot of good things happen to my fans this year!! and i hope many many happy things happen in the world. the more french bulls, the better the world will be!

ちょっと遅れてまったけど、あけましておめでとうだがねー。もう２０１２年なんだなも。今年はぼくの年になる予定なんだがね！いつも大晦日には長生きできますようにっておそばを食べて、お正月にはアパートにあるチュウブ神社にお参りするんだに。それからちゃんとお餅も食べるよ。うちのアパートの中に神社があるなんてすごいがねー。アーロンとアヤコが伊勢神宮で買って来た神棚を、チュウブ神社ってぼくにちなんで名前をつけてくれたんだに。

ぼくのこと見とってくれるみんなに、いいことがたくさんある一年になりますように！世界中でいいことがいっぱい起きますように！震災で大変な思いしとる人たちにいいことがでーらいっぱいありますように！！それから世界がフレンチブルドッグいっぱいになりますように〜！

6 month, 10 years, 4 years old ６ヶ月、１０年、４歳

today is a 6th month day of the earthquake and tsunami in japan. today is a 10th year day of the 9.11 attack. and today is my 4th birthday. i always had a complicated feeling about my birthday because of the 9.11, but this year, my feelings are even more complicated because of the earthquake and tsunami and nuclear disaster.

i'm a very positive, optimistic french bull, so i will think that my birthday adds something sweet to this sad day. at every birthday, i eat a piece of steak and a lot of sweet potatoes, which is my absolute favorite. and i pray, pray, pray for peaceful world. i want everyone in this world to be able to live peacefully and happily like me.

今日で震災から６ヶ月。今日でアメリカの同時多発テロから１０年。そして今日でぼくは４歳。ぼく、自分の誕生日が９月１１日で、なんかちょっと複雑な気分だったんだけど、今年はそれに加えて震災と原発事故があったからますます複雑な気分になるんだに。

ぼくはでら前向きで楽天家なフレンチブルドッグだから、今日みたいな悲しい日だけど、ぼくの誕生日ってことでちょっとハッピーな日になってほしいなも。毎年ぼくの誕生日には大好きなステーキとさつまいものごちそうなんだけど、今日はそのごちそうを食べたら、世界が平和になりますようにってお祈りするでね！みんながぼくみたいに平和に幸せに暮らせる世界になってほしいなも。

4 facial expressions 顔芸４変化

frog face has a lot of facial expressions.... my parents' job is to read my mind from what my face looks like. look at my eloquent facial expressions!
かえる顔はいろんな顔芸ができるんだに。アーロンとアヤコは、ぼくの顔見てぼくが何考えとるか想像するんだに。ほれ、目は口ほどにものを言うって言うだらー？今日は顔芸４連発だに！

#1: sweet face. look how wide my face looks! i bring my ears back to make my face rounder. my mom goes crazy when i make this face. i know i look very cute.
１番：かわいいー！かえる顔。これはぼくの顔が一番大きく見える顔芸なんだに。耳をうしろのほうに持ってくると顔がますますまるーく見えるだらー？アヤコはぼくがこの顔芸するとでら喜ぶんだに。まーぼくがかわいいのはよーくわかっとるんだけどね！



#2: pissed off teenager face. i'm a proud young man, so sometimes i get pissed at my parents teasing me so much. so this face is basically saying "what do you want??"
２番：反抗期のかえる顔。ぼくはもう反抗期は過ぎたけど、そいでもアーロンとアヤコがあんまりぼくのことからかうもんで、たまーにむかつくことだってあるんだに！そういうときはこの顔芸だがね。「なんか文句あるー？」っていう顔だに。



#3: model with wind blowing face. as you know, i had a career as a super model, so i'm trained to do this face. models use a big fan to make their hair go crazy. i use a fan to make my eyes like this. ah, i look so handsome it's unbelievable.
３番：風に吹かれるモデルかえる顔。ぼく、モデルの仕事もしたことあるでねー、だからこういう顔だってできてまうんだに。よく撮影ででっかい扇風機使うだらー？ぼくもたまに扇風機つかってモデル顔の復習するんだに。あーもうでらかっちょいいがねー！



#4: tired sleepy face. that was a lot of work that i just did! i'm going to take a nap now. i deserve it.
４番：疲れた眠いかえる顔。あー、顔芸はやっぱ疲れるなもー。ちょっと休憩してお昼寝しないかん。

guarding chubu 番犬チュウブ

i got a new job! i was looking for a perfect job for me for a while, and i finally found one - guarding a doll house! when i visited my friend zoeteens, i saw a big doll house for the first time. there are little people and little furniture there! they were small enough for me to swallow, but i didn't because i have to guard them!

it's so much fun to spy on those little people having tea in the doll house. they look so different from my mom and dad. and it's so cool that i can watch what's happening on the second floor, too! i searched, but they didn't have any treat there. i think those little people were very happy that i was guarding them. i'm so good at it!

ぼく、新しい仕事見つけたがねー！しばらくいい仕事ないかなーって探しとったんだけど、やっと見つけたがね！それは、人形の家の番犬だに。この前、ぼくの友達ゾーイの家に遊びに行ったとき、人形の家を初めて見たんだに。家の中にはちーっちゃい人とか家具とかがあったなも。人はでーらちっちゃくて、一口で食べれそうだったけど我慢したんだに。だってぼくの仕事はあの人たちを守ることだもんねー。

あの小さい人たちがティータイムしとるのをこっそり覗くのは楽しかったなもー。アヤコとアーロンとは全然違って見えるんだに。しかも、ぼくだって２階までちゃーんと覗けるんだに。でらいい気分だがね！いろいろ探しまわったけど、あのちいさい人たちはぼくのおやつは持っとらんかったなも。でもぼくの番犬ぶりは気に入ってくれたと思うにー。ぼく、何やっても上手なんだなも！

2 important tricks でら大事な芸２つ

it's a french bulldog hot dog day! my neighborhood has a lot of italian sausage stands at street fairs. when i walk around, i smell sausages everywhere and it's so hard for me to focus on walking. there are a lot of games, too, but the food comes first! so i convinced my mom to get a giant hot dog and eat outside.

ah, the sausage smells so gooooood! i can do 2 tricks to get food and treat - one is begging eyes and the other is sad eyes. the begging eyes is when i open my eyes so big and round and stare at the food. the sad eyes is when i have some tears in my eyes and look at my parents' face. those 2 tricks really work!

今日はフレンチブルドッグのホットドッグの日〜！このへんはイタリア風ソーセージの屋台がいっぱい出るんだに。散歩しとってもソーセージのい〜いにおいがしてきて散歩に集中できんがね！お祭りにはゲームとかもいろいろあるけど、やっぱり花より団子だに！ぼくはアヤコを説得して、でっかいジャンボホットドッグを買ったんだに。

あー、ソーセージいいにおいだなもー。ぼく、おやつとか食べ物とかをもらうために、２つ効果的な方法をしっとるんだに。一つは「お願い目」で、これはまんまるに目を開けてじーーーーっと食べ物を見つめる方法。もう一つは「切ない目」で、アーロンとアヤコの顔をじーっと切なそうに見つめる方法なんだに。どっちも効果ばつぐんだがね！

my new outfit 新しい服

new clothes is always exciting! my aunt tomi-chan bought a set of outfit for me - a hoodie, a hat, leg warmers, and a scarf! they are awesome!! the hoodie looks so good on me. i think orange is my new favorite color. ayako sometimes puts the hat on me even when we are staying inside and it's so annoying, but i'll bear anything to look cute! winter isn't so bad because i can dress up!

新しい服着るときっていっつも興奮するなもー。これはとみちゃんが買ってくれたセットなんだに！パーカとぼうしとマフラーとレッグウォーマーがついとるんだに。でらかわいいがね！パーカって本当にかわいいなもー。オレンジっていい色だなもー、気に入ったがね！アヤコはたまに家の中でもぼくにぼうしかぶせたりしてうっとうしいんだけど、でもかわいく見えるためには、ぼく何だって我慢するがね！おしゃれできるから、でらさぶーい冬もそんなに悪くないんでないのー？

hello everyone! i want to introduce my friend - snow chubu! my dad made this when we had so much snow. snow version of me looks strong like a guard of my aparment, but still smiling like a frog face. he is the proof that i am a snow melting handsome french bulldog!

snow day!!

hi everyone! it's a bit late, but happy new year!! i hope it is going to be a great year for everyone.

it's been a very very cold winter here in ny. we had so many snow storms. and today again, it's a snow day!! my mom's office is closed and we went to the park to play with snow! i love swimming in snow!!! but it was really deep and i was stuck in the snow at one point. i'll run anywhere to get treats, though! my brindle body looks so handsome in bright white snow, don't you think?

この冬のニューヨークはでーら寒いに。雪の嵐がもう何回も来とるよ。今日もでら雪が積もっとって、アヤコの会社もお休みになったんだに。ラッキーだなもー。だからぼくたちはみんなで公園に遊びにいったんだに。ぼく、雪の中で泳ぐの大好きだがね！！でも雪がでーら深くて身動きとれんくなってまったこともあったなも、、、。でもぼく、おやつのためなら雪もなんのその、だに。ぼくのブリンドルの体が真っ白な雪に映えてかっちょいいなもー。そう思わんー？
